Aguila Awards Foundation announces nominees
for 2005 Awards nominees.

AUSTIN, TX (November 18, 2004)—The Aguila Awards Foundation (AAF), a non-profit organization established to create awareness and provide visibility of positive role models in the Texas Hispanic community, today announced today the 2005 Aguila Awards Nominees. The award recipients will be honored at a star-studded dinner and gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, TX, on April 29, 2005. This year’s awards are being presented in the following categories: Sports; Music; Education; Community; and Business.
“The AAF is proud to have a dynamic group of nominees represent the Texas Hispanic community. The online ballot process will allow Hispanics throughout the state a chance to vote for their own selectionchoice of each award recipient. With the Hispanic population growing so rapidly in Texas, it is essential that we recognize the significant contributions that are being made from all aspects of ourthe Hispanic community,” said Roxana Estrada, Executive Director, Aguila Awards Foundation.
The nominees are individuals, entertainers, organizations and/or companies who are influencers among the Hispanic community and have achieved extraordinary success in their respective arenas.

The Aguila Awards Foundation was established in 2003, to create awareness of — and provide visibility for — positive examples and role models throughout the Hispanic community. The foundation allows for the public to cast votes online for their favorite candidates in several categories.
