Austin, TX (January 9, 2003) – The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau recently announced the appointed of Ron Estrada to its 23-member Board of Directors. As Vice President and General Manager for Estrada Communications Group, Estrada's appointment was approved by the Executive Committee and will join the board effective immediately.

"ACVB is pleased to have Ron on the Board. His experience and network of contacts across the U.S. with the Hispanic community will help us to identify and solicit diverse groups and conventions to Austin," says Bob Lander, President and CEO of the Austin CVB.
